Teaninich

In the small town of Alness, north of Inverness, is one of the largest single malt distilleries you may never have heard of… Teaninich Distillery. We’ve opted to further mature this little-celebrated savoury, oily highland spirit (that’s usually used for blending) in American oak from our cask partners, Koval Distillery, in Chicago.

These 110-litre rye whiskey casks are smaller than industry standard hogsheads and as a result, develop oak influence in a shorter space of time. After an impressive four years, these compact casks have produced a beautifully balanced, flavourful Teaninich – an excellent example of our daring and the Art of Maturation.
