Caol Ila 2019 Koval Bourbon

Provenance, authenticity and excellence lie at the heart of our Cask Partnership Series. Showcasing outstanding single malt Scotch whiskies, matured in exceptional, flavourful casks sourced from the finest producers of wines and spirits from all over the world.

KOVAL DISTILLERY

Established in 2008 as Chicago's first distillery since 1930’s Prohibition, KOVAL blends whiskey-making tradition with a bold spirit of innovation. For this cask partnership, we selected Koval’s compact 110-litre American oak casks, used to age uniquely crafted Bourbon.

CAOL ILA DISTILLERY

At the heart of this revered Islay single malt are notes of citrus smoke and coastal peat. The sweet influence of Bourbon cask maturation complements Caol Ila's powerful character; revealing layers of salted caramel, lemon oil, and toasted coconut.
