Quietly celebrating 125 years of whisky making, Glen Elgin Distillery’s spirit is appropriately known as a ‘hidden malt’. Rarely bottled, this fruity single malt plays a part in many famous blends. We shine a light on this little-known ‘blender’s malt’ by artfully maturing it in superb, flavourful rye whiskey barrels.

“We’ve selected this zesty single malt to further mature for three years in 110-litre rye whiskey casks produced by our wood partners, Koval Distillery in Chicago, USA. The combination of the fruity malt and the influence of the rich, peppery rye casks has created a sprightly dram to sit back with, sip and enjoy!”
