Caol Ila Distillery, on the northeast coast of the Isle of Islay, produces a robust single malt that displays luscious, oily smoke – a peat-lover’s dream. Our team filled this hearty spirit into 1st fill Madeira barriques from our partners, Justino’s, the celebrated vintners on the island of Madeira.

Don’t be fooled by age; peated spirit is most potent and exuberant when young. Nurtured for four of its five years in luscious, fortified Madeira wine casks, this powerful, smoky single malt has developed impressively to produce an outstanding dram with commanding character and a beautiful orangey-red blush.
