Bowmore 2001

The small town of Bowmore is the capital of Islay, and since 1779 has been the proud home of its legendary distillery – the oldest on the iconic whisky island. The sophisticated spirit from Bowmore Distillery is delicately peated and well-balanced. Today, it is one of the most desired single malt whiskies in the world.

For its final 15 years, we matured this 23-year-old treasured Islay malt inside a traditional Port pipe. Over time, the subtly smoky Bowmore spirit weaved its way into the thick, fruit ladened oak staves of the cask, slowly evolving into a truly exceptional and original dram – a legendary and glorious chapter in the Art of Maturation.
