Invergordon 2007

Invergordon Distillery is one of the largest producers of grain whisky in Scotland. Distilling from mainly corn and wheat, the distillery creates an oily, sweet spirit which has typically been enjoyed in the guise of a blended whisky. Today, we share this sprightly grain spirit in its pure form, after maturing it in fresh Tawny Port casks.

“This robust 15-year-old grain whisky has been transformed by being matured for its final 3 ½ years in Caves de Murça wine barriques from our Port-making partners in the Douro Valley. The spirit and oak have combined beautifully to produce a delightful symphony of exciting flavours created by the Art of Maturation.”
