Peatside 2015

Our much-loved Peatside blended malt is back for another bottling. This vibrant, peaty blend of single malts from Speyside and the west coast of Scotland is a masterful balance between the power of youthful, untamed spirit and ex-Islay casks, combining to give a gentle underlying sweet, subtle smokiness.

“This unique batch of 7-year-old Peatside is finished in oak casks that were first used to mature Islay malt. We re-charred these used casks (i.e. set fire to the inside) before filling them for 18 months with our Peatside spirit. We now present to you a true ‘peaty blinder’ – cheers and enjoy!”
