Since 1823, Mortlach Distillery, one of the original ‘Seven Stills’, have produced an impressive spirit that is fiercely revered for its unmatched quality – it is known as the Beast of Dufftown. Our Whisky Creations Team have been bold, brave and daring to tame the wild nature of this much fabled Speyside single malt.

“In 1989, new Mortlach spirit was filled into an ex-bourbon hogshead, with each passing year the whisky evolved elegance and sophistication. After three decades of aging gracefully, we filled this precious liquid into two Pedro Ximénez octaves for its final 21 months, producing this Sherry-kissed beast worthy of legend.”
