Over the past thirty years, our Whisky Creations Team has crafted hundreds of exceptional, high-quality whiskies and have continually challenged the status quo. ULTRA showcases Murray McDavid’s finest and most treasured whiskies; each carefully matured over decades in oak casks in old Victorian warehouses in the Highlands of Scotland. These masterpieces of time have developed remarkable depth and flavours, and are now revealed to the world.

The First Three Gems in the ULTRA Series

At the heart of the extraordinary ULTRA range are three outstanding single malts:

Caperdonich (1972), a magnificent 50yo whisky, nurtured over decades into an awesome dram.

Glen Scotia (1991), a 33yo elegant and complex spirit, developed over three decades.

Macallan (1993), a luxurious 30yo from Speyside’s world-famous distillery, that offers sophistication and opulence.

A Grand Unveiling

The launch event for the ULTRA collection was held on July 23 2024 at the illustrious Signet Library in Edinburgh. Guests enjoyed drinks, canapés, and an exclusive first look at Murray McDavid’s most prestigious whiskies yet.
