Drams, Doodles and Discussions…
Wednesday 10 February saw the first our tweet tasting of 2016, inviting whisky enthusiasts across Europe to sample a variety of Scotch whiskies drawn by David Simpson (Head of Whisky Creation), from casks lying at Coleburn Dunnage warehouse, the home of Murray McDavid.
Our selected panel of whisky tasters were presented with six coded samples of scotch and six square sheets of paper to create a ‘visual tasting note’ or as we like to call it, a ‘whisky Doodle’. Each dram on display went through close inspection and tested even the most experienced Whisky enthusiast, distillery names and ages were kept secret until after each pour, in order to remove any bias and to solely focus on the flavours in the glass; here’s how our Tweet Tasters got on. . .

Once the final dram of the evening had been discussed and doodled, Brand Ambassador Dean was on hand to take questions on the drams and coming whisky events. We would like to thank all of those involved in last night’s fast and furious episode of doodle filled Whisky tasting.
If you are at Whisky Live next month, come and see us for some more drams, doodles and plenty of discussions.
