Chosen to Supply Speaker’s Dram

Murray McDavid have been chosen to supply the Speaker’s dram for the House of Commons.

Our 12yo single malt Scotch whisky was chosen as the ultimate winning dram in a recent blind tasting held at the House of Commons by new Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle himself.

The Speaker of the House of Commons is the chief officer and highest authority of the House of Commons and each appointed Speaker for the past 40 years, has selected his own Scotch whisky to share with fellow MPs and guests and visitors from around the world.

The Murray McDavid Team selected a beautiful and elegant Glen Moray single malt which has a gentle and elegant style, with notes of sweet malt, rich honey and lemon biscuit.

So soon, Dean and his Murray McDavid Team will be off to London to launch this very special ‘Speaker Hoyle’s Select’ and introduce Honourable Members of Parliament to other fine Murray McDavid Scotch whiskies.
