ARDMORE →

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

REGION: Highland

BOTTLED: 2026

DISTILLED: 2003

WOOD: Bourbon Barrels

In 1898, Ardmore Distillery was built high in rural Aberdeenshire by the son of legendary Glasgow blender – William Teacher. Surrounded by fields of barley, the distillery has an ancient source of mineral-rich peat which is used in measured amounts to produce this graceful Highland single malt Scotch whisky.

“Distilled shortly after the turn of the millennium, this serene, smoky spirit was filled into ex-bourbon barrels, where it would remain for an impressive 22 years. The gentle influence of old American oak has refined this traditional single malt to reveal a truly sensational dram – fineness in the Art of Maturation.”

Nose: Citrus oil, fresh flint, boiled sweets

Palate: Lemongrass, salted butter, smoke

Finish: Mellow char, tropical, sweet malt

MILTONDUFF →

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

REGION: Speyside

BOTTLED: 2026

DISTILLED: 1995

WOOD: Bourbon Hogshead

FINISH: PX Sherry + Margaux Wine Casks

Founded in 1824, Miltonduff Distillery is a treasured Speysider, built on the site of a former mill in the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey, near Elgin. Its traditional single malt often provides harmony to many world-famous blends. Today, we turn the spotlight on this modest yet marvellous malt to showcase its beauty.

Initially filled into hogsheads, we later re-racked this classic Speyside spirit into two casks – one used to produce prestigious French red wine and the other rich, sweet PX Sherry. These two special casks of mature whisky were married to create an exceptional dram with alluring depth, charm and complexity.

Nose: Orange oils, creamy fudge, herbal

Palate: Fruit cake, chocolate, sweet malt

Finish: Creamy mocha, oily, mellow oak

NORTH BRITISH →

SINGLE GRAIN SCOTCH WHISKY

Built in 1885, North British Distillery is one of Scotland’s most important producers of whisky. This exceptional single grain has been the base spirit of choice for master blenders for 140 years. Today, our team present one of their favourite examples of this iconic whisky that’s been matured for 37 years!

“In 1988, the creamy North British spirit was initially filled into a Sherry butt, where it rested for 34 years taking influence from the classic Sherry cask. Introducing further depth and drama, we matured this unctuous dram for its final three years in Pedro Ximénez barriques – a sensational silky Sherry BOMB!

Nose: Leather, cocoa nibs, walnut fudge

Palate: Rich toffee, sweet oak, baking spice

Finish: Creamy mocha, berries, lingering

ABERLOUR →

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

REGION: Speyside

BOTTLED: 2026

DISTILLED: 2014

WOOD: Refill Sherry Butt

FINISH: Ximénez-Spínola PX Sherry

In 1879, local banker James Fleming established the Aberlour Distillery in the village that shares its name, near the banks of the River Spey. Through generations of whisky makers, Aberlour’s whisky has become synonymous with the fruity influences of Spanish Sherry casks – here, we do not disappoint.

The sweet, barley-rich spirit was initially matured in old Sherry butts, gently evolving over time inside the European oak casks. We’ve introduced layers of silky sweetness by finishing this classy Speysider in fresh PX Sherry barriques from our cask partners Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola – a heavenly marriage!

Nose: Ripe fruits, orange zest, creamy malt

Palate: Set honey, soft toffee, hint of berries

Finish: Hint of mocha, fruity, mellow oak

GLENGOYNE →

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

REGION: Highland

BOTTLED: 2026

DISTILLED: 2014

WOOD: Bourbon Barrels

In 1883, Glengoyne Distillery, known as the Glen of the Geese, was built at the gateway to the Highlands. The patient Master Distillers at Glengoyne combine long fermentation with slow distillation, resulting in an opulent, fruity and sweet spirit. Here, we share this unhurried dram for its long-awaited Benchmark debut.

“Fully matured for eleven years in first-fill Bourbon barrels, this refined whisky showcases the perfect balance between oak and spirit. The American oak has gently enhanced Glengoyne’s creamy character, whilst adding a complex layer of classy lingering spice – a dazzling dram to be sipped, savoured and enjoyed!”

Nose: Sweet pastry, lemon skin, banana

Palate: Creamy, tropical fruits, fresh malt

Finish: Toffee, hint of vanilla, light oak

HIGHLAND PARK →

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

REGION: Highland

BOTTLED: 2026

DISTILLED: 2008

WOOD: Ex-bourbon Barrels

Founded in 1798, the storied Highland Park Distillery has been forged by the rugged elements and breathtaking scenery of the Whitlaw Hills on Orkney’s remote shores. The local barley, used to produce this fabled spirit, has been dried with heather-rich peat to produce this proudly heritage dram.

Filled into ex-Bourbon barrels, we welcomed this hardy coastal spirit to our whisky warehouses in Speyside, where it has gently evolved in American oak casks for 17 years. Over the passing of time, this peaty single malt has blossomed to reveal delicacies along with the brazen beauty of Orkney – Slainte.

Nose: Sweet pear, stone fruits, vanilla

Palate: Candied apple, cedar, light smoke

Finish: Soft nutmeg, oily malt, floral peat

On the west coast of Scotland, the charming Tobermory Distillery is perched on a picturesque fishing harbour, on the Isle of Mull. Originally, in 1798, the distillery was known as Ledaig (letch-ick). This old Hebridean style of spirit is heavily peated and here, we celebrate this smoky dram in our favourite way…

“For its final four years, we matured this beautifully peated single malt in red wine barriques from the Quinta dos Frades vineyard in Portugal’s Douro Valley. The combination of the fruity red wine and smoky spirit is a match made in heaven – stylishly demonstrating the Art of Maturation.”

DISTILLED: 2019

WOOD: Bourbon Barrels

FINISH: Koval Bourbon Quarter Casks

Loch Lomond is home to one of the most versatile whisky distilleries in Scotland. Making nine different styles of spirit, they are the only producer to craft single grain whisky solely from malted barley. Here, we present the column still single grain spirit in a way never before seen.

“Good Scotch whisky shouldn’t be judged on its age. In fact, this is the youngest grain whisky we’ve ever bottled! Matured in Koval Bourbon casks for its final four years, the Loch Lomond spirit has evolved into a dram full of fun, thrills and hopefully… no spills! Today, we raise a glass to going against  WITH the grain!”

Nose: Banana milkshake, toasted oak

Palate: Buttered popcorn, caramel, spice

Finish: Lingering vanilla, hint of cinnamon

From a 37-year-old single grain rarity to exciting first-time releases, this year’s Spring Release is a celebration of flavour, imagination, and the endless possibilities of cask maturation.

Every bottle in this release tells its own story — shaped by time, oak, and the Murray McDavid philosophy of creating Inspired Scotch Whisky without compromise.

These are limited releases and once they’re gone, they’re gone… so don’t miss your chance to experience the latest chapter in the Art of Maturation.
