History in a Bottle: Discover The Elizabeth Tower Whisky
What happens when one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks meets a beautifully aged single grain Scotch whisky?
You get something truly extraordinary — The Elizabeth Tower whisky. A remarkable bottling we couldn’t be more excited to share.
We’re delighted to unveil the launch of this extraordinary 35-year-old whisky. Released to mark the restoration of the iconic Elizabeth Tower, home to the world-famous Big Ben, this remarkable dram has truly secured its place in whisky history.
Distilled at the Cameronbridge Distillery back in 1987 and nurtured in a single American oak hogshead, this elegant expression is bursting with notes of sweet caramel, smooth butterscotch, and silky milk chocolate. It’s a masterclass in the art of maturation — a signature Murray McDavid creation through and through.
What makes this release truly special: just 334 bottles have been produced, reflecting the exact number of steps ascending to the belfry of the Elizabeth Tower. Talk about symbolic sipping!
“It’s no surprise that the tasting panel selected this wonderfully elegant single grain whisky to commemorate the restoration of such an important landmark,” said Dean Jode, Murray McDavid’s Head of Whisky Creations. “It’s a very proud moment for the Murray McDavid Team to be associated with such an historically significant project.”
This isn’t just a bottle of whisky. It’s a collectible, a conversation starter, and a tribute to heritage — both structural and spirited.
