DESCRIPTION:I am inviting whisky lovers to clock-in and join our experienced team to discover what a typical day looks like in the running of our whisky warehouse at Coleburn. Throughout the morning\, along with terrible jokes from the team\, you’ll be working alongside and learning about the essential day-to-day duties and care of casks that help shape our Murray McDavid whiskies\, including the stowing and ‘timing’ of casks\, re-racking spirit\, regauging and the careful drawing of whisky samples. \nThis immersive experience offers a rare opportunity to gain practical insight into the traditional skills\, precision\, and care involved in managing a whisky maturation warehouse and to understand how our team create Murray McDavid’s inspired Scotch whisky. \nEach of our apprentices will finish their shift with a flight of well-earned drams and a special certificate of achievement to mark what they have learnt during their shift working inside a Murray McDavid traditional Victorian whisky warehouse. \nDean Jode – Head of Whisky Creations\, Murray McDavid \nOffering: 3x 2cl ‘Warehouseman’s’ drams. \nIf required\, please pre-order ‘Driver’s Drams’ before the event. \nAn on-site shop selling Murray McDavid whiskies\, including their 2026 Spirit of Speyside Festival Bottling. \nAccessibility: Please note that this experience involves manual work and climbing stairs.
