DESCRIPTION:Casks are at the heart of good whisky making and our very own fully qualified cooper\, Jason Taylor\, will guide you on how to ‘raise a cask’. You will construct your cask\, stave-by-stave\, inside the original cooper’s workshop at Dallas Dhu. Jason will demonstrate and show you how to use traditional hand tools that have been used for generations. \nAfter your gallant efforts to raise a cask\, enjoy three artfully matured Speyside single malts and a good chat with Jason and your fellow coopers for the day. \nOffering: 3 x 2cl drams\, in-store discounts. \nIf required\, please pre-order ‘Driver’s Drams’ before the event. \nAn on-site shop selling Murray McDavid whiskies\, including their 2026 Spirit of Speyside Festival Bottling. \nAccessibility: Please note that there are small stairs on this tour.
